It's kind of funny to me, but women who want a man who's taller than they are because they feel that they are more protected, which simply isn't always true. Speaking from experience of course.
Personally, I could care less if women want to wear heels or not. I honestly do not ever look at the kind of shoe she's wearing because it's just not important.
The most potentially terrifying and dangerous guy I ever dated was 5'8'' and maybe a buck-fifty in terms of weight. Size means bupkes.
I love heels just because it makes me feel sexy. My ex used to make me walk around in his house with just heels on because they simply look good on my feet.
Since I started working in a hospital my relationship with heels is declining to be honest.
My love for heels has little to do with trying to get a tall man. It's just my Carrie Bradshaw. I do get what you're saying tho.
I don't care about being taller than everyone, I'm not a little girl who needs a big strong man to protect her.
That being said, I do too much walking to wear heels out all the time and I hate how hard it is to talk to people in a loud bar/venue because they're speaking into my boobs.

I've had a few laughs over it. I've dated a few women who were taller than I am, and they all said the same thing, that they weren't sur if they would feel safe in my arms since I'm shorter than her.
And then it happened, and she couldn't believe it haha.
Another thing about tall women wearing heels, if she's wearing heels, and her heels push her boobs to be eye level with me, then it's not my fault that I'm looking at them so often!
Im tiny so need heels or a wedge heel to give me a bit of height.. its gone on so long that I cant wear flat shoes as I must have shortened my hamstrings now...
So you've damaged your body purely for vanity's sake.
Plenty of men don't like women to wear heels and it has nothing to do with height. It's a dominance thing or sometimes insecurity. Some men just don't want women to look sexy.
Has it occurred to you that some men simply don't find it sexy at all? My personal attitude toward heels is one of intense apathy. I have no opinion on what a woman chooses for footwear (unless she wears cowgirl boots, I find those very sexy on a woman most of the time), I feel that she should wear whatever she's happy wearing.
I do, however, find it very UN-sexy when a woman walks on wobbly legs or with an unnaturally long gate because she's uncomfortable wearing heels.
