I wish i could be serious when i said that. For someone who doesn't support the death penalty I do like the idea of an eye for an eye. I mean even just getting her hand scalded, it really brings home the full extent of what she did. Then she'll never think it's 'just a bit of hot water.'

I'd sue the b*tch, or do the very same damn thing back to her while she's sleeping. Instead of causing physical harm, she could just take him to the judge and take as much as she could from him.

Because you feel that is the predominant opinion here by women on this thread?

Is anyone sure that this actually took place? It's a tiny story coming out of Ninguna Parte del Este, Colombia. And the stories in the NY Daily News are less factual than the stories in the Onion.

I agree. There isn't punishment for an action such as that, but rather a consequence, usually the demise of the prior relationship. You either work it out or break up. My ex-husband cheated on me and it was the universe that 'rewarded' him, not me. Despite what happened I couldn't wish him ill will, because what you put out comes back to you and i don't need to create bad karma for myself. I told him I wished him what he deserved but that it wasn't up to me to decide what that was. And things he told me months later confirmed to me that he "got his" and it had nothing to do with me , but the universe has a funny way of dealing with things. He put forth ugliness and selfishness into the world, and that's exactly what he got back. But again, there is no punishment for cheating and that woman should be jailed.

A cheating spouse is not worth going to jail over, although I can't say I don't understand.

I would never want to physically hurt my husband. I would want him to feel uncontrollable remorse and guilt. But I would never assault him or physically harm him. And that should be a punishable offense but the article didn't state whether it was or not.
