To get herself a few cheap ego points? Do women do that sort of thing? I met one (especially this one) who I'll call "Goldslime" (obviously not her real name) from NY's Upper West Side (not her actual neighborhood) and I could never understand why she rejected me. She looked 112 pounds and a young 50 in her one and only on line singles picture (on every free singles site that you ever saw), when I met her she was an old 60 and about 260 pounds and 5'5" but I didn't care because I liked her. She was educated, intelligent, interesting and attractive to my individualized tastes although no other guy must have thought so because 3 years later and she's still on every site and SAME picture.

We had what I thought was a great first meeting and I felt real chemistry. Met her at the Barnes And Noble, helped her find an anniversary card for her married 70 years parents, looked at books/CDs/DVD's and invited her to one of the Top 100 American restaurants for the next week (Katz's Deli) which she accepted.

Then she broke the date claiming that her (married) ex came back to her and she wanted to stay exclusive with him which was BALDERDASH because she kept coming back on a daily basis to "oldlosers.com" (not the real name of the singles site) so a handsome friend of mine (let us say) posted his profile and sent her a "winkydinky" and she went "lala" over him.

This old girl, as I said had so much recent "Nuevo fat" that her cheap clothes weren't fitting her when I met her. She was supposedly a hip modern New York trendsetter but she was dressed like a church lady from Kansas. She looked like a cross between a lamb and a llama, I was attracted to her but I'm unique. When she walked she bumped into everything, you'd have thought she was drunk.

Also she had complained on the phone before I met her that guys from singles ads were making first meeting arrangements with her and never showing up (or viewing her from a distance and walking away instead of coming up to her) I GUESS because the "flyweight" turned out to be an ancient "heavyweight" but I didn't care...............so she hid at our first meeting then snuck up on ME.

Did she meet me just to boost her ego?

Why did she reject me?

Maybe she just wasn't that into you.

No other real explanation needed.

Just because you saw her as desperate doesn't mean she has to drop everything and be with you as if it's some sort of favor that you're throwing some attention her way.

She obviously was more disappointed with you than you were with her. Rejected by a 60 year old fat chick means you must not be a prize either.

Garonick why would you want someone like that? Unless you are grotesque you could do better.

I will never understand some rejections but that is life. I have been rejected by men below my looks but I figure in hindsight a good thing.

Her standards must be a lot "higher" than mine are but any woman can ASK or HOLD OUT for a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggggggg handsome guy.................no matter how stupid it makes her look and no matter how long she stays on the free sites with the picture from about 6/7/10 years ago on it.

What did Forest Gump say? Stupid is what stupid does?
