I have decided to be more like my namesake, Mr. Spock next time I get in a relationship. Totally practical, intellectual, and without emotions. If women admit it or not, that is what they really want in a man. Most women view an emotional man as a wimp and a lightweight. Women want a man in control, who is hardworking, intelligent and practical. They want someone with supreme confidence and someone who does not waste time with small talk.

Women want a man like Mr. Spock, admit it!

Eh, I got in trouble for "not hugging" or being "emotional" enough by the marriage counselor.

(I guess I'm suppose to hug and want to be affectionate with the person who is actively cheating on me?).

Just be yourself, not a fictitious character.

Was Spock successfully married with a family? If not - why don't you chose to emulate someone who is?

You can't be Spock till you pass the Kahs-wan. His relationship failures with Leila Kalomi should show you that you can not always operate on logic when it comes to human emotions. To ignore the emotional need of a human is just not logical. It is an essential component to the healthy human relationship. It would be as logical as starving the body of what it needs to thrive.

They also want a man who isn't a fictional character.

Exactly what led you to the conclusion that women want emotionally unavailable? Bear in mind, that "women" are heterogeneous in their tastes; there isn't just one thing "women" as a class want. Barring some clearly disqualifying conditions (eg: dead, abusive, under the age of consent), one woman's trash may be the next woman's treasure.

OK, so love will not play a role in your next relationship? Good to know. We'll forewarn all the ladies who cross your path.

These admit it threads crack me up. How is that working for you, Mr. Spock?

Call me crazy, but I believe women like 3-dimensional men, think about that for a second. Also, if what you say is true, then Sheldon Cooper would be a chick magnet.

They are illogical and I don't care to involve myself with very emotional people. I've been called emotionally unavailable, emotionless, cold and so on. At least I'm not irrational. That's what emotions will get you.
