i guess it also depends how it's said, could be intended to be endearing or critical. Like "I'd totally wife her arse" (marry her up if given the opportunity) or "no way way man, i'm not interested she too wifey" (boring family oriented type). My guess is that it is usually the next relationship level above being a keeper.

I've been told on several occasions that I'm the 'wife' or 'wifey' type but I never knew what that meant. Does that have to do with the way a woman looks, her attitude, whether she'd make a good mom, etc?
