LOL, it is what it is. Times are different and boys have become men but looking back, it was the best way to bid a potential fatal attraction-esq relationship adieu... like I said, worked perfectly...

Yeah I think I'd like it better if he said he was into dudes. Then I can't do anything about that.

what? why would a straight man say something like that? Word gets around you know. Anyway, once I realized there was no substance..pursuing a serious relationship was out of the question. So sending them off on a high, with their confidence still intact, was my way of getting out of the situation.

Trust me, i've had my fair share of fixer-uppers and was at that time, dodging them like the plague. Not my finest moment/accomplishment, i must admit...but hey...worked!

I only one guy I didn't let down too well. I left a voice message saying I met someone else.

I got a "I though that was your leg" before. lol

But the most important one ever, was when I was told: "Your kissing is hypnotic"

I liked that one.

That's cold enough to freeze a polar bear's unit off. I honestly think I'd prefer even a text or an email to that. I don't know, that's just not something you expect to hear on a voicemail.

At the end of the day, however, I don't see why it matters what method you use to end a relationship. Whether you flatter them with a bunch of compliments and dry their tears, or you do it via Instagram, they're still going to have to get over it and move on to the next one the exact same way.

Indeed. I've always gotten compliments on my kissing, but that one stuck in my head.

...or...yeah, you were talking about the kissing, right?

Yeah I did this in my 20's. He was a really nice guy too. But I had hang-ups. And he wasn't good enough to the young me. Now the old me wants to kiss that superficial girls butt.

It does the job. But to some it can leave mental damage. Or lower self-esteem.
