It seems everything out there is geared for men. Take my situation the wife has lost her sexual interest and its affecting our marriage. And I'm not the only one I've spoken to a lot of men who are in same predicament. According to medical research a large percentage of women over 50 lose their interest in sex. You wonder why married men cheat on their wives.

Not really, as far as I know - it does not affect libido (desire/urge), just as viagra does not affect mens' libido, only capability for arousal.

Because a woman's sex drive is a lot more complicated than a man's. Its more mental and emotional than it is physical. Not an easy pill to create.

Testosterone usually works to increase female libido, but she may also grow a beard. Low doses may work when hormone replacement therapy is an option.

Viagra treats erectile dysfunction - which is the inability to sustain a satisfactory erection to complete intercourse. It does not affect the libido (the desire to have sex). I don't think a a "female" version would make much sense.
