Am I the only one that doesn't find many romantic movies that are less than 10 years old not very romantic? Like something (namely the romance) is just missing. I just don't feel it when I watch them, they seem shallow and undeveloped. Am I alone here? Anyone can answer but I'm especially interested to hear from people who are under 30yo.

How about dying for a kid you are trying to save?

That's my kind of movie.

I can't stand romantic movies and/or romantic comedies, mainly because they are so poorly made, so I guess I agree with you.

Oh! I totally vote for this one. Never seen the movie but 3/4 through the book. I keep getting sucked into A Criminal History of Mankind, which has a lot of man/woman interaction...... but, alas..... no romance.

It's very good. Host is coming out too if you are into sci-fyi romances.

I went and saw the Evil Dead remake last night... that's close enough to a romantic movie as I'd like to get.

Love Actually. Especially the scene where Colin Firth proposes in very bad Portugese in the restaurant...I cry every time I watch that scene!
