You must also keep in mind that people do try to present their best face on the forum. If everyone was honest with themselves, you'd probably be appalled at what you read. It is much easier to fake it on the computer.

Do you look to see if they have a profile picture, and if so, do you check it out? I find myself doing that. And I hate it, because it reeks of judgment (although attractiveness is subjective, most definitely...I for one find a lot of the male celebs that most girls my age think are hot not very attractive), but I think it's human nature. I've read so many threads where people bemoan their singledom and not being able to find someone, especially when they post detailed accounts of their experiences, and it sounds as if they aren't doing anything "wrong"... you just have to wonder what the problem is.
No, I really don't. I pretty much assume they can't be drop-dead gorgeous as such people generally don't have a problem; somebody will like them no matter what their personality is.

I think she is a very beautiful girl. You really don't have to be this harsh. We all want to feel good about ourselves, don't we? I am sure her picture is not hurting your eyes.
