I certainly do consider it a compliment. What's "funny" is that she and her young son are living with her dad - or her dad is living with them (whatever). It's funny because I'm living with my daughter and her husband.

I also think of it as a compliment because her son (in elementary school) is her number one priority (as he should be) and I highly, highly doubt that she would want her dad seeing someone who would be around her son if the woman was of questionable character, ya know?

Anyway, I was sitting there at work, thinking about the possibility of taking her up on her offer. Then I talked to my sister and she said, "I don't see why not." Hmmm . . . LOL It would be nice just to have someone my own age to do stuff with.

I have a lot going on with work, finding a place of my own, and concerns about my mom. So, I'll give it more consideration when I have less on my plate. I just wanted to share with you. : D

Thanks, everyone, for your well wishes.

Who wouldn't talk up there father?

I mean, not to insult your friend, but I can make my dad into some super awesome guy that you should want to jump through hoops to meet.

I've talked about some of the mistakes he's made on here, but honestly he's one of the better individuals I've met in my entire life.

Everyone makes mistakes. I've made plenty. But I also know that apologizing and making up for my wrong goes a long way.

She has told me some of the things that he has done. She has also told me how he loves his grandson, how he helps with him, and what a kind person he is.

Besides, I'm sure it was only a passing thought on her part. It isn't like we are going to go skipping down the sidewalk hand-in-hand. LOL
