I'm not a huge cat person to begin with, in addition to just not liking them I'm very allergic to them as well. I would have a tough time with someone who has any cats but would probably still date them up to 2 cats, anything over that no way. I have dogs, I have two dogs. I know not everyone likes dogs, my current gf is allergic so we deal but its a pain in the butt ie I can't lay on the couch with the dogs, have to change clothes before going in the bedroom after walking around or lounging around the rest of the house etc.

Max 2, over that cat lady, no thanks. Don't think I would go for more than 2 dogs. Over 2 of anything in a residential environment

Wow you have 7 cats! Do you have them until they get their forever home? I have one cat. My family saved her last January.

I'm thinking of getting a sweet little kitty to cuddle once I graduate . 1 is enough though.

Preferrably one, two is fine.

However:

Chick with 2+ cats or more > chick with one, large, obnoxious, slobering, barking, hyper dog.

6 of 7 would likely died if I didn't pick them up. They were a little kitten or were throwed out by their previous owners.

You have no idea what noisy is until you live with a bird. The barking isn't just from the dogs. LOL I wouldn't know how to handle a quiet house anymore.
