Any thoughts?
A great place to look for love?

I still believe that the best place to look for love is in the real world where there are real people that you have real interaction with.

From what I understand Craigslist should be renamed BatPooCrazy List and most dating sites are used for casual sex with random strangers. Personally I have no experience with either because I have never been/seen either and don't plan on it anytime soon. I prefer the real world hands on method of dating and getting to know humans.

From a law enforcement view I would say stay far away from Craigslist. Too many hook ups end poorly for many people.

There are bound to be a few good people on CL. It's worth glancing at every now and then. If you're smart and perceptive, you'll be fine.

For fun, check out the lesbian ads on CL and see for yourself that women can be just as visual and perverted as men, especially in larger cities (NYC, SF, etc.).

Craigslist personals ads are the quintessential example of a fantastic idea in theory, which abysmally fails in practice.

For used cars, tools, furniture and so forth, Craigslist has completely replaced the local newspaper classified section, and very effectively at that. It’s democratized the marketplace, connecting sellers and buyers in mass quantities, skipping the middleman.

Personals ads are a completely different story! Even the newspaper printed personals ads of the 80s and 90s were less tacky, more sincere and more respectable.

CL is probably the worst place to go looking. Not the first.

I'd rather settle to remaining single and get a cat or a dog before trolling CL for love....

Darn, I was just about to say it's as likely a place to find, (the real one, that also doesn't exist of course,) Bigfoot and then saw your nick and apropos response to the thread. Figured I need not say much more. Ah, but can I stop myself ..... It's a good place to find amusement, sell goods, view some interesting pics, see what your SO is up to while you're away. And for sure, you'll never forget what the male genitalia looks like as long as CL exist.
