I don't know how I can go back to my house. I don't know how to deal with this.

I'm sorry for whatever you're going through, but you're going to have to elaborate before we can offer suggestions.

Without being told a few details it is hard to offer any guidance or suggestions.

I interpret this to mean that his wife cheated on him and got pregnant with her lover's children, so the children are not the OP's.

I suppose my response depends mainly on the ages of the children and the bond formed with them. If they are very young (say, under 4), I'd probably divorce their mother and move on. If the kids are old enough that they'd remember him (which based on hippocampus development, would be around age 4 or 5) and there IS a bond, I'd probably recommend joint custody. Of course, that may require accepting child support responsibility as well for children that are not his. It's a tough, messy situation, and there are no winners.

As for going back, I suggest the OP get a trusted friend to go along, but depending on the OP's intentions, I don't know if there's a way to move back in if that's the question here. Visit, and work things a little at a time, maybe get a lawyer AND a therapist - he'll probably need both.

Interesting. I assumed it had to do with marrying a woman who already had children with somebody else, and various complications that can arise when parenting children who are not yours. It's definitely hard to offer up anything with no real information.

Basically my wife has announced that she was pregnant with our second child after months of trying. I went to a fertility clinic shortly before that and the results that came back this morning were that I was sterile from birth.

It's all too much for me and none of the "friends" are being much help. Just drinking my life away right now hoping that when the doctor calls back saying none of this is true and I can forget about all of this.

You won't know for sure until you have DNA on the child. I know a few couples who were "sterile", one couple's daughter was born 10 years after they were told they would never have children, the other couple who were "sterile" ended up having 5 children, the other couple never did have children, never used birth control and were told they were sterile.

You really cannot assume anything until you absolutely know for sure with the DNA test.

I'd get a second opinion. Several of my siblings and their spouses have gone through difficulty conceiving, and fertility clinics have been wrong about fertility and sperm viability as often as they've been right.

Is the 1st child from this relationship? Have you even spoken with her about this yet? Does she know about your test results? Not enough information here. So far it sounds like you may be jumping to conclusions.

That would be nice, except apparently I have Klinefelters syndrome. Doing research on this currently, and this could be a correct diagnosis. **** my life.
