I was merely disputing the claim that it's a question of no other options; that it's the last resort of a man who can't get laid otherwise. Life isn't always black or white. People can go to prostitutes simply because it's easier, with no strings attached and no games to play.
most people don't care about the games unless they are loosing at it or it is made incredibly difficult (ie the guy getting laid every 6 months). I am not referring to the business man in his hotel.
If I had done it I would not tell a partner unless she asks me directly about it.

How would you feel about paying a guy to have sex with you when you know that guy is not attracted to you? When you know he is probably an addict or someone who was brought to the industry by force or sexual abuse? Would you feel good about yourself?
Most men who hire a prostitute more than once might look decent but they usually have empathy and personality issues. I say more than once because there are men who do it once and feel so bad for the prostitute that they never repeat it again.
Not everyone is going to get married some day. If legal prostitution was available, customers would prefer a more hygienic route and pimps could be eliminated. Over time, there would be much less incentive for human trafficking. Men and women voluntarily go into porn, some would voluntarily go into prostitution if it were a reasonably safe and legal profession.
So it's not spontaneous. You must sleep with an infected person to get it. Obviously sleeping with different people, or sleeping with a person who sleep with different people will put you at risk.
Yes isn't that the point of the thread? 80% of women are going to get it, that's pretty much every women. So it doesn't matter if you're "sleeping around" or not. You don't know if somebody is infected or not. There's no test for men, and condoms don't protect you from it. Come on dude get a clue.

If you have had sex with 2 people you are more likely to have it than not. (assuming HPV=HerPes Virus)
HPV = Human PapillomaVirus. Believe it or not, it's even more common than either Herpes virus. It's so common that the experts now say you should assume you have it if you're sexually active. It could be essentially wiped out in a generation (preventing many cancer deaths) by having everyone vaccinated before the age when they begin sexual activity. Many on the right in the U.S. are against this, though, for reasons I cannot grasp.
