For those reading, nothing wrong with that but I'm so not ready to get any older than I already am.
It's depressing enough being on the wrong side of middle 50s.
Ditto. I am getting bitter. After my divorce at 40, I thought I'd blown my shot at having a family. It appears that's true and I'm very sad about it. Completely unfulfilled in life.
I don't think that's true. You still have a shot. One of my uncles married at 40 (to a woman that already had kids, mind you) and had a kid of his own with her a few years later

Nooooooooooo! And I know you're under 60 anyway! I was just trying to say that things get better in terms of having available women as time goes on.

Yes I agree. Feel blessed that you can do this as a man.
Life is too short to be nitpicky all your life, I think.
I just think you can miss out on some good things. But to each his/her own.

I was only half kidding.
All is good.
I wouldn't mind that happening now and not later. But I shouldn't complain as I do not make enough of an effort. Frankly the reason why I don't is I feel it's time wasted. There is only so much rejection one can take, and that goes for friends as well.

Harden your heart, and keep looking. Then when you are ready, melt it again.
No, I'm no longer in Atlanta. I had to move to Oklahoma City for a job. I still haven't changed it on here.
As a former Oklahoma resident I have to say that explains it completely.
