I'm just curioius. Do couples over the age of 50 still kiss each other alot? I don"t mean little pecks, but like when you were younger! Does that ever wear off? I tried searching this question on here before asking, couldn't find anything!

Especially during sex.

I think one reason you might not see a lot of this happening is that people over a certain age tend to become more discrete in their physical displays of affection. In other words, generally PDA isn't something they engage in regularly

lovesmountains, I see older folks still walk holding hands. I was just curious if at home if they still did that mushy kiss stuff! I'm in the 50 age group now and I am not interested in much kissing anymore with my DH, so I was wondering if that is just part of the aging process!

Got it

I subscribe to the theory, "use it or lose it" myself lol!

If you lose interest and don't do something regularly, after a while it's ancient history.

As long as both partners are in the same place over it there's nothing to worry about!

Oh, and I guess I was thinking of hand holding as being PDA - I was thinking more of publicly making out with hands all over each other.

For us, signs of affection is warm or cold. But, that's how it was as our kids grew up. They Pooh-poohed any signs of parental affection. We do find we become more affectionate when they've been away for a long period (at school).
