Saturday as I was leaving to go to work, my daughter and her husband were getting ready to go on vacation. I hugged her tight, told her that I love her, and told her to have a good time.
I looked at my son-in-law and told him to have fun and take care of my girl. He said, "My life for hers."
I looked at her with tears welling up in her eyes and tears welling up in mine. I quickly said good-bye while walking out the door, thinking, Just get out of here so they can make me a grandbaby. LMAO
I know that he meant it and so did she. He is a man of his word. They are lucky to have each other.

That is awesome you have a son in law who has your daughter's best interest at his heart. As a man with a daughter, this is a big deal to me, as well. A good daughter in law, too.
Most of those moments are more like "Aww...Aw crap, I have to poop!"
