Without giving too much away...I can suspend logic for plot...but not to that degree...! We also watched the Denzel Washington movie where he is a pilot...that was much better...even though you have to suspend disbelief...big time!

We watched that movie last night called "The Call" with Halle Barry. The movie wasn't bad once you get past some of the obvious "dumb Hollywood" parts, it's was fairly entertaining, again, if you can just ride thru some of the silliness it was a decent watch.
All the reviews slammed the very last 10 min of the movie... I loved it.... the very very end line was kick azz... LOL
I keep going back and forth about renting that movie, HB has been in some real duds over the past few years, I'm not sure I can take another. I even watched the Shark movie she was in, hey, it was on netflix, I don't think I watched it all the way through. But, I might go ahead and watch "The Call" based on what I'm reading from you all.
We also watched this documentary, it was interesting, some of it I knew and some of the other stuff really got me irked.... just taking it on face value.... course, you need to be careful when watching documentaries as a lot of times there are agendas and you wonder what is the actual truth, this is about wealth distribution in the US, along with the politics behind it........ it can really peeve you off, so if you do watch it you've been warned.
I saw this a couple of months ago. The brothers featured were in the news just recently because of their political connections.
If you want a good movie to watch, try MUD. Very good, and original.
My husband and I were torn on whether to rent/buy that or not. We ended up going with The Place Beyond The Pines. We didn't even finish watching the movie and I doubt we'll resume it. It just seemed long.

I've only been around one person who doesn't wear on my last nerve. All the rest at one point or another get on my nerves. Some get there sooner than others.
