I hate technology.I'm ready to drop kick this computer and the dumbass that created our grading program. It's seriously the most ****ed system ever. Must have been created by someone who never stepped foot in a classroom. It has added HOURS and HOURS of work to create a report card. Seriously, there was nothing wrong with pencil and paper. However now "big brother" can keep an eye on us I love my job...I just hate the stupid dipwads that try to dictate how I do it when they have NO CLUE. Freakin' retards.
Seems to be the trend where BEMs draw software ideas on dry erase boards without one iota of input from those who will actually be using it.
I am so freaking tired. Today I cleaned out the desk of the guy that I replaced back in June. He had an untimely demise so I have stacks of paper to go through looking for PII data. Very boring but I have to do it.
I do think that i am pretty smart and quick to learn things. I haven't looked at Unix scripting in a few years...well in the last few days I think I have written at least 4 pages of Unix scripting. Along with studying for my CISSP and watching the baseball game. Naw..who needs sleep.
On top of everything else...my grandma was admitted to the hospital for possible stroke. Thankfully it wasn't but it has been a few stressful days. The guy that i have gone out with a few times got kind of rude about the fact that i am going to FL tomorrow. I am sorry but my grandma has to come first. I deal with his kid visitation schedule and make myself scarce when she is around. He can suck it up while I go down and see her.

Your week sounds like mine. I've had to enter almost 2,000 grades into a computer system that doesn't work half the time.
Sorry to hear about your grandma. I hope things improve for you!
I tested to certify for my current job today. Hopefully I passed. If so then I have to swear to an oath in front of a judge.
When do you find out if you passed?
