Happy Birthday, Robyn!

It hasn't started out great, but I hope it proceeds and ends well. On your next birthday this morning will just be an unpleasant memory.

If I were there I'd take you to lunch....

Take care.

Robyn,
I wish you a very happy birthday today.

Don't let tbjbt get to you hon. He counts on getting to you, especially today, why would he want you to have a good birthday? It was his intent to make you miserable. So, my advice? Keep your head up, and no matter what happens today, next time you talk/speak/see him, if he asks, you had the best birthday you have had in years!

He does not even have the kids to feel sympathy for him anymore as they see thru his 'poor' me attitiude.

Stick to your guns, hon, he is just mad as h*** cause he can't control your every action anymore.

I agree with you, do not allow him to come pick the children up at your house. Even if it means calling the law on him if he does.

Just go about today and do have a wonderful birthday, after all, you are celebrating the birth of your new and stronger self.

blessings...aiangel

Smile Happy Birthday, Dear Friend!

And Many Blessed Years!

I am hoping you'll just decide to keep the children this week-end. He's had them twice in a row, right?

MsV is soooo correct: tjib is so emotionally damaging to his children and everyone , that any of his visits should be monitered. I'm fervently hoping this will ultimately be ordered by the court.

Anyway, I hope things get sorted out for this week-end, and that you will guard your heart against his emotional abuse.....he's not likely to ever change his behaviours. I think he gets an emotional "payoff" everytime he sees that he gets to you.....that's why he does it. It's a behaviour "tape", if you will, that he's been playing over and over for all these years.

But the great part is that you are learning how to TURN OFF THE TAPE-PLAYER!! ...to follow the analogy. But it takes constant vigilence to not step on his emotional landmines.

Stay strong! Remember who you really are!

First I'd like to wish you a Happy Birthday Robyn! Sorry IB is trying to put a damper on your fun. The good news is you've learned a lesson early in the game, don't give IB an inch because he'll take a yard. Here is what I'd tell him; no more Friday visitation even if the kids have the day off from school and you have the day off from work. No more Friday visits period! He needs to understand, it's your house, you pay the rent. He has no reason to go to your house when you are not home. Sorry I'm so angry. IB is a RM, relentless moron!!! Add that one to the alpha-butt.

I called the mediation center and he has not cancelled yet, they will call if he does. What a booger he is, to think he can just treat me that way, and what he doesn't get is that he is hurting the kids so badly...
