I think the people who need to be told are the same kind who write here with posts like, "He/she didn't text me back for two whole hours, what does it mean?"
The premise of a "most women need to be told what to do in bed" is pretty offensive and sexist really.
Yeah, I'm so glad that I grew up in the time I did, We're about the same age and we both came up before tech was really a thing, and I'm thankful for that, these kids today, IDK, I actually feel sorry for young people, they are having a harder time with nuance and reading people, some of the softer life skills. I think they'll get it, but it's gonna take longer for them.
Not bashing on them here, just noting the differences.
Maybe I've just been with freaky women, or whatever, but I never felt inclined to tell them what to do, they were veterans of the D and I wasn't complaining about their skill sets.
I did have one GF that in looking back could have maybe used a pointer or two, but she was young, so I'm sure she's got her black belt at this point.
I certainly don't need to give my lady any directions, nor she to me. Now, my ex, and she tells me hers as well, both could use some intensive schooling. It all about them. As if we weren't even there. A blow up doll or a vibrator would have been as good, maybe better. We have sometimes lamented we didn't get to be together during our young, prime years. But it isn't something we dwell on, so much.
Knowing each other as we do, a handbook is hardly required. Still, we can surprise each other now and again. Certain things trigger us both. When a thunder storm comes in, for instance. Especially if the power goes out, and we break out the candles. We could both be hurting with our injuries, and that just makes it all go away. No words , other than "I love you" need be said. Oh, how I love my lady!! Neither of us needs to tell the other what to do. We just know. Another gift we've been given.

Good lovers read bodies. I don't know about "most" of anything since I don't sleep with most, and have no desire to. There are people I don't have sexual chemistry with and there is no point in trying to fix something that isn't meant to be. But MOST be damned.
