In Denmark you can, or soon will be able to, get an uncontested divorce on the internet. Just fill out the forms; pay with your credit card; hit return; and wait for the official email in your in-box....just like Amazon.
If you can agree on everything and split up your assets without a fight, you can do it a lot cheaper. I think you can just file the proper paperwork with the courts and not have to use an attorney.

Every situation is different and laws vary state to state. One thing online or paralegals generally do not do a good job with is co-signed debts. It needs to be listed out on the decree who is financially responsible for what and possibly what the consequences are for late payment harming your credit.
Avoid lawyers if you can. They are very expensive and often not necessary, especially if there is no children or a house to divide.
I took a big financial hit with my divorce but I looked into it and it was still cheaper and quicker by avoiding lawyers.
My divorce (just the actual divorce) was a couple of trips to the courthouse and a little over $100.00. They will help you in making sure the paperwork is filled out correctly.
That mostly depends on the other person demands...
I know it depends on the other person demands but if both are satisfied with the conditions then which is cheaper.
I think online is better because because of majority!!
As i see most of you prefer online divorce!!
