So true! And for what it's worth, some men assume this too (that women don't have to do anything to help build and maintain a relationship).
Can be thrusted on women as well if she's a "1" or a "2."
Or married to a guy that ended up being gay (that's me BTW). Trust me, I didn't choose to not have sex (and I am looking forward to it again as soon as I find the right man to build a relationship with).
I've had one long-term relationship in my life, and we didn't meet until just before I turned 26. He died in 2008; last time I was approached for a date was in April 2010.

Considering how many men here insisted they assume an attractive woman is taken and don't approach, when we had a thread on that topic recently, you guys shouldn't be in denial that women go years without being approached. And being approached is only the first step, it doesn't mean anything will result from it other than a first date. There are very unrealistic ideas about women's lives among some of the men here.

Once again, the exception does not make the rule.
If a woman is attractive, lives in a metropolitian area, and leaves the house, she will be approached. This is ridiculous to even argue.

Maybe, maybe not. Plenty of women walk around every day without being constantly propositioned. And even if she is, you can't assume that the approach is welcome, or that it will lead to her having sex.
