Hello 80sborn.

I kind of went through the same thing, except I saw it coming, didn't acknowledge it, and ended it, preserving her flawed sense of self esteem.

So heres the truth: no matter how much you bad mouth her, or try to justify her actions or his actions, nothing will stop the pain you feel. That will always be there. So take the short cut; forgive her and acknowledge the pain. Don't run from it, try to mask it, or hide it. Accept it as a part of who you are now. And then move forward. Work out. Eat healthy. Keep your mind sharp. What everyone else said, but minus all the negative reactions.

As for her, be nice to her, but do not take her back when she comes back, because in alot of cases they do. Keep your distance. Do this for yourself and your future spouse; having a clean conscious and living your life is the best way to move forward. But the pain you feel will be there regardless, so just accept it, and in time it will strengthen you, and finally it will become a shield that prevents you from being affected by such scenarios on the same extend.

Good luck.

Your girlfriend spent a week at your best friend's house, and he stays at her house when you're not there?

You must be one dumb SOB man. If my girl told me she was going to stay with my Guy friend or asked she could take her clothes with her and not come back. Use your head man cmon on. HELLOOOOOO red flag anyone.
