Tell me about it... everyone is an individual and has individual tastes when it come to attraction. Why do so many people here assume the opposite sex (whether male or female) all think and act alike. I just responded to a thread where it was assumed that ALL women go though a bad boy stage. Like we are carbon copies too.
"All women only like tall men over 6'"
"All men like only skinny models whose ribs and hip bones protrude"
"All women like rich men"
"All men only like women with huge breasts"
"All women go for bad boys"
"All men are interested in are easy women and don't want real relationships"
"All women really hate men and are using them"
"All men hate children and never want their own"
"All women are attracted to men older than them and the older, the better"
"All men are psychos out to kill women"
The extreme of these absolutes can give a rational thinking person a headache! If people really think this way, it's no wonder this forum is full of people who can't find relationships.
I keep hoping the this lack of empathy and ability to understand another human being is just a reflection of this forum... and not humanity as a whole. and hopefully, even then it's based on inexperience with the opposite sex. Or maybe it's just people trolling for entertainment.
Okay, in all fairness to the OP... this isn't that bad a post. And to be clear, I am just spouting off in general (and not at the OP). It's just the fourth one I read this morning that has that "all members of a certain sex think and act alike" feel to it. And I've only had one cup of coffee so I am grumpy.
To the OP, just be yourself.. shy, social, whatever... and let a man be attracted to the real you. Don't put on an act to attract someone that isn't interested in the "real" you. At best, it won't work out. At worst he will feel it is a bait and switch.
