Nerd conventions?

Women come in all sorts of personalities. Meet them all and sift through the dirt to find gold.

Everywhere. I know plenty myself, but in general they aren't going to be 10s which is why most guys pass them up.

Well, I've said I don't believe in this whole 1 to 10 thing. I just know when I find someone attractive. As for "how attractive," I'm not really concerned with that.

When you say girly man, I think of crossdressers.

I do prefer nerdy, geeky men who don't feel the need to put up a false front of manly-man-ness.

When I say girly men, I'm thinking of what Arnold was talking about, as in the opposite of body builders and tough guys.

Basically, a girly man is the opposite of a tough guy.

Then go to conventions. Participate in message boards for 'nerdy' things. Join tabletop gaming groups, or find some LARPers or Steampunk people. Join a D&D group.

There are plenty of ways to find nerdy women.

OK. I'm not interested in the things you mentioned, but there are other nerdy things I'm interested in.

Doctor Who (sort of, but I prefer to watch that on my own the idea of conventions & costumes & all that doesn't really interest me, but I like talking to people about the old lost Doctor Who episodes from the 60s, and my nerdy fantasy is to get on a TARDIS and appear every Saturday night in the UK from 1963 on so I could watch every single Doctor Who episode), birds, botany, astronomy, classical/folk/blues/world music.
