It seems like either the younger person is VERY mature for their age or the older person is super immature for theirs. In my observation, rarely do the two people meet in the middle where they're both just "kinda" immature/mature. This is absolutely not limited to romantic relationships, it fits platonic relationships too. I'm 25 and have friends who are middle-aged and I often try to determine which side of the pependulum I'm on.

There really is no question here - just a general observation. Thoughts?

I agree, it's your own general observation. Most 25 year olds think their more mature than they are - just my general observation, and my 2cents.
