Ha!!

Brazilians are outraged about being spied upon by government agencies, yet willingly embrace and download apps to track their lovers?!?

If you feel as though you need a phone app to track your SO, then I'm going to go out on a limb and state that this relationship probably won't work out, long-term.

I prefer relatioships with NSA women (that's No Strings Attached, not National Security Agency, in case you might misinterpet things!).

If he consents to her installing the app, no problem, but she should let him install Girlfriend Tracker on her phone too. Otherwise, you really don't have a legitimate reason to do this. If you are married, perhaps you have rights but there are laws about illegal surveillance that must be taken into account as well.

I don't know, I would be creeped out if a boyfriend did this to me, so I don't think it would be right to do this to a boyfriend. If you are that insecure about your relationship, like another poster said, it's most likely doomed anyway--just end it.

My husband and I use the "Find My Friends" app but it's not a stealth app and we each had to approve each other in order to track each other. Neither of us are insecure or jealous, we just find it convenient sometimes - like if I want to know if he's on his way home from somewhere so I can start dinner, I don't have to text or call him, I can just check the app. I don't agree with "spying" on a partner, especially if they've given you no reason to suspect them.

Sure, but at that point, if they're both consenting to knowing where the other person is, couldn't they just...oh, I dunno...tell each other where they are?
