There are a lot of good things here, but a lot of bad. Don't believe what you see from Hollywood; it's not like that here.
Its a lot cheaper than LA.

Vegas employers seem to gravitate towards hiring people who actually live in Vegas.....i had a relative move to vegas many years ago and struggled to get a job with his out of state drivers license and the story that he 'just moved here' etc. At interviews, dont drop the hint that you 'just moved here' it might turn them off a bit, they're more likely to hire someone who is 'established' as a vegas resident over someone who is looking for a fresh start and doesnt even have a nevada drivers license yet.

I'm only repeating what some other poster had said: It can be a very hard city to live in. And what kind of women do you think you'll meet up with here?
Yup... If you come to Las Vegas searching for solace you are not going to do well.

This place can be very hard on those down...spits them right out.

On the other hand it is qn interesting place to start anew. But don't come with a load of baggage. Vegas just adds more.

I would suggest you fight through the cutoff before you come to Las Vegas. Use it as the new start not the termination of the old. .

Bear in mind, there's an estimated 24,000 night shift workers in this city. And what's that got to do with the dating scene here?

If you work a 9-5 job, weekends off, you may meet up with a night shift worker who works at one of the casino resorts, she works nights, has weekdays off, while you're working!

Spend a weekend together out of town sometime? Dream on!

It's been a very heartbreaking experience for me. I just realized it's been a year since we split 2 days ago becuase time was irrelevant to me. I have been so focused on winning her back that i
forgot to take care of myself in the process. We were talking on the phone the other night and she said some pretty cruel things. The type of things you say to someone that just digusts you.
That's when i had an epiphany to move to Vegas.

This woman that i devoted so much time and energy into is just not in love with me anymore. I need to accept it and move the hell on because it's holding me back in life.
She doesn't respect me at all and alot of it is my fault. Women only want a man to chase them if their interested otherwise you just look like a clingy boy.
Well...I'm tired of being her doormat. I am going to cut her out of my life completely. I will not answer her phone calls , text, or emails. And i'm serious

I am moving to Vegas to get financially secure and to start a new life. I barely have much money but my cousin is allowing me to stay with him for the time being untill i find a stable source of income.
So i am stepping out on faith. I don't have much to loose seeing that i'm not doing much better in California. I feel like this is what i need to get myself to the point i deserve to be at.
I feel like it will motivate me to get my life together as a man should. Now don't get me wrong i am not poor or struggling out here but i can be doing sooooo much more.

Someone posted on my other post that if you pull a bandade off slowly it hurts worse. So i am now ripping it off full stride. Taking drastic measures. That is the only way i can be happy.

My question is.
What do i do if she calls ?
What do i do about social media ?
What can i do to occupy my time so that i don't accidently call her ?

What do you think i need to know before i go into this because it's probably the biggest decision i have ever made in my entire life.
You sound like a teen? grow up and stop your contact with her. Get over it and move on. There will be many more significant decisions in your life then this. Come on take control and be a man.
