After the fiasco that was the VMA's Miley has gotten a lot of flack, but I say some flack should go to her "co-star" in the train wreck that was also known as her "performance" on the VMA's
This guy that wrote this article that was posted in another part of the forum, this guy is banging on all cylinders.... and is completely right and a much deserved "other side" of the story that needs to be addressed.

Never heard of Robin Thicke, and I didn't care to hear about Miley Cyrus' chicken leg dance.

I kinda like Robin Thicke. He's hot and I never really saw his song or video as negative as other people have. I didn't really think he did anything wrong during the VMA performance, because while Miley did her thing he kinda just stood there and sang, he never touched her.
HOWEVER, I will say the way he has defended his song and video has been a turn off and he's said some absurd things.

He really is getting a pass.... Miley made herself look like a 2 dollar ***** and he sort of got a pass... think about that...... |

Because Miley was way more embarrassing and OTT than he was. She went out of her way to be vulgar and he kinda just stood there and got molested by her. Like I said, he never touched her or did anything "bad" per se. That's why no one really cares about him during that set.
He should've never agreed to do the performance with her, though. He has the biggest song of the summer, that's well on it's way to being to most popular song of all time according to Billboard. He could have held his own by himself, or teamed up with Pharrell. Why'd he duet it with her? I question his judgement for agreeing to that.

I generally agree with you...... he in general didn't make an azz out of himself like she did... especially that stupid tongue stuff she was doing..... good lord... the antidote to a good shot of Viagra... LOL........
The whole scene was embarrassing.....

The alternate clip for that song got some criticism (so it should)., I saw a clip for a Justin Timberlake song on the weekend... don't ask me what it was. I was busy picking my jaw up from seeing another pointless clip showing topless women. This is what pop has sunk to. Soft porn for **** music. (and don't even start me on that bubble butt song) |
