It is bonus points but I believe it over rated. Solid foot in the door nonetheless I have two friends, one 6'2 the other 5'10 who hang together at the bars. Women seem to walk up to the 6'2 guy but then gravitate towards the 5'10 one. I know 5'10 isn't exactly short but the guy just has a better personality. Both good looking. So there you have it.

Lord... I am a 5'4" male. Many women don't like it. I accept it and drive the $%$$ on. Some people get the short end of the stick in life . It's how you respond that matters. Don't worry about finding a date, and just be the best man you can be. The rest will fall into place.

Thanks, Ruth! I am a short man. However, I managed to be Army Special Operation. I managed to be an amazing engineer. I managed to be an amazing husband. My height does not define me in any way. I rise above the bs that people assign to me, and I become great.

Its safe to conclude with that it varies depending on the culture, my understanding seems to be that height is alot more of a definitive dealbreaker in the U.S than in say Scandinavia.

Where over here its what makes people be judgemental about you that becomes the dealbreaker. You are alot better of with the girls beeing 5"9 tall, normal looking slim and looking like a Scandinavian.

Girls over here at least is very conscious about what kind of boyfriend its acceptable to have as a boyfriend. So breaking into social groupes at random looking like you`re from somewhere else is not easy normaly.
I think that is true in the US...of younger people. As we age we are less worried about social status.

Just how old are you?

I've been reading a bit about this judgmentalism on blogs about Sweden/Scandinavia. What's that about, exactly? Is it about fitting in to a rigid norm? Is it a highly conformist society?
