No romantic meaning. Hugs vary significantly with culture, gender, age and situation. Most likely it's a sort of comforting hugging. Those are sometimes given to comfort a distressed other person, such as when a parent hugs a crying child or when a friend hugs another who is upset over a social matter.

Could be. I often rub up and down someone's back if it is a tight hug. Usually if they are sad or I am happy. If its an uncomfortable standoffish hug, I just pat.
Did they dry hump your leg while rubbing your back? If a hug is more than platonic I normally will hump the leg as I rub the back.

...this just happened to me today. I hung out with a girl I hadn't seen in a couple years, but she's in a ltr. I gave her an innocent hug bye and she hugged back that way with the rub down my back, like you'd do to someone you like more than friends.

2.) She's in a LTR
3.) And after seeing her, then she decides to give you the sign that she wants more than friendship.
Think logically much? If there was really something more in her hug than see you later, I think you would have known way before the hug goodbye.
