Am I the only one finding it disgusting seeing pictures of woman holding or cuddling these lapdogs. Maybe it's just me, but I don't like 'rat dogs'. They are annoying little creatures about the size of a cat that either jump trying to climb up your pant leg or run circles around you barking and sniping at you as you walk.
I notice that some otherwise attractive looking women like to post on line photos with their pets which indicates some endearment to these creatures. When I see these photos, my interest is sealed shut.
Is anyone else turned off by dogs or cats in photos?

I'm turned off by dog photos and I find that guys put those kinds of photos up a lot. They usually have some big scary dog too and there's no way I'd ever let it near my cat (thinking long term here). So dog photos are actually a dealbreaker for me.
The only thing that bothered me when I was actively searching on dating sites were pictures of a girl with some guy in the picture.
Why the hell do I want to see a picture of your ex, or your friend, when I want to see what YOU look like if I'm interested? That just doesn't make any sense at all, and I generally ignored those profiles.
I think that showing dealbreakers clearly in photos is great! You wouldn't want to put a lot of time and energy into someone only to discover a month later that they had a pet you weren't willing to live with, right?
I don't mind pets, but I won't message any guy with a pic showing 'conspicous consumption' items like a sports car or airplane. I don't mind if he has them; it is the showing off that is the turnoff. I figure those guys want the sort of woman who will be impressed, and that's not me.
And ditto on the attack dogs, for the same reason.
