I'm not bitter, I actually meet every qualification I posted (barring too skinny which can be fixed with a little work). I'm just posting what I've observed, I think once it WAS men that cared more about looks than women. But culture, boy band craze of the 90s, Twilight, Fifty Shades of Grey, feminism etc. shifted that
People are assuming I have a motive or making this personal, but nope. I can understand why they think it since 95% of negative threads here are made out of frustration, this isn't one of them. If i were to have a problem it would be confidence, not looks. and a frustration thread would be more like "why don't women want shy guys?!?". But that wouldn't accomplish anything and I'd rather work on myself than complain
truth be told I made the thread partially cause I saw another thread where a bunch of short guys were defeated and gonna give up on women and I felt bad.

Everybody has their own motives, and I won't speak for other posters, but I can say that for myself if a woman I thought was cute came up to me over this weekend, said she thought I was really cute and went out with me even for a week, you'd probably never see me again on here.
Of course, I have a greater chance of being kidnapped by a gang of flying monkeys and taken to Oz.

Women care about the other person's looks as much as men do, but it's just that women won't admit to it. Women are concerned with what others think of them and they don't want to come across as being "superficial" so they just deny that they care about appearances. Men, OTOH, don't give a **** about what others think, so they will readily admit that they care about a woman's appearance.
I bet if I were 6" shorter, obese and bald with bad teeth, that NONE of the women I've dated or currently date would've given me a chance
Anyone with plenty of options who says they don't care about appearances is a liar.

has anyone in this thread explained why there are entire industries (fashion, cosmetics, porn) that basically revolve around the looks of women, if men care so much less?
