well, being a constant liar WILL lead to being caught. It's practically inevitable. And being caught will ruin your reputation. People will not trust you. If you got caught cheating on your wife, maybe you haven't been honest with your taxes, your boss at work, your friends, etc. Whether or not this is true, people would suspect you of the worst.

I think the OP is right.

If his wife slept with 20 men last week and got pregnant with one of them and herpes from another, it would be childish of him to get upset. He should just chill and be happy with her. This is how grownups have relationships.

So many teenagers have this fantasy. They really don't know that being an adult means you have zillions of agreements, rules, and laws to keep track of every day. They are shielded from that.

but now i feel a lot better reading such completely-heartfelt-and-not-at-all-intended-to-start-a-flame-war commentary as this

How do adults behave exactly?

I think all adults are different. besides, "society" says that adults don't really change from childhood.

Responsibly and kindly and honorably.

That means they keep their agreements -- also known as following a sh*itton of rules.

ermm.. I doubt most people care.

And I don't get why you presume everybody is or should always be "nice". are you?

Many workers cheat, and frankly per HRM best practice it should be none of management's business, unless directly affecting operations and/or corporate culture.
