I'm 23 years old and the longest time I ever went out with a woman was 2 weeks. Now I'm fully focused on college and not open to pursuing women or dating at all. A lot of people said I'm weird for not having a serious girlfriend. Are they right?

No, they're not right. There's no norm at that age. Some have a partner, many don't. Some never have had one. Learn to blow off people who try to fit you into a mold. You'll be happier for it.

No, you can do what you want in the relationship department. You're not the only one who focuses on school work as your main priority.

Society puts so much pressure for people to date. Why?

The "pressure" only exists if you allow it to get to you. But to answer your question: It's considered a societal norm.

I'm 2 years younger than you and just recently started dating a woman who's 24. This is my first actual relationship outside of the whole high school thing. I think dating's not something you can sequence like with age. Know what I'm saying?

Also.. caring what other people think is a waste of time.

They are not right. Enjoy being single for the time being! It's fun to be single in college.

I get what you're saying. You can't rush a relationship. Hopefully, my time comes in the future.
