Being single and unattached most of my life I have never found that to be the case.
It's relatively easy, but not to the extent that she is talking about, and is not without its complications. It might be "free", but still requires considerable time investment and high indirect expenses. And when factoring in the smaller selection pool and the potential for morning-after complications it becomes a increasingly unattractive option.

My big brother was a Force Recon Marine. (95-01) He was stationed in many screwed up third world countries. Since my brother was an ELITE special force military man, he had DIRECT orders that his recon team (normally eight people) could not have direct contact with ANY local civilians, period.
While this might apply during certain time periods, these guys do have time periods where they interact with the locals. Wishful thinking and perhaps some BS he fed his then girlfriend, or mother, you, who knows. If your brother, husband, boyfriend, father, etc military travels take them to the likes of Thailand, or SE Asian countries, etc, they will be exposed to constant offerings of cheap sex with often very attractive, submissive, women. Just a fact of life! Most all military men who travel overseas are exposed to this sort of thing. And sadly many, if not most engage in it, married or not!
In the Navy, Westpac tour, during the 90's every single guy on the ship went nuts when they hit SE Asia. It was just what everyone did. Sure they offered a quick lecture of safe sex practices and said, "no, no, you might get aids" but everyone paid for sex. It was common for 2-3 Navy guys to contract HIV during these trips too. Careers just started and just ended!
Even men deployed in the middle East are exposed to women offering up pay for sex.

That's kinda taking the easy way out. It would be like in basketball some team keeps kicking your ass and instead of working on your game so you can be better you Pay the other team to take a dive . I'd suggest you invest in making yourself more attractive, so they can score for free. Consider it a smart investment.

Irrelevant. You miss a big point of prostitution for men - it's not to stay and have sex, but to GO AWAY after having sex.

Right. However, my big brother was a Force Recon. He has done both green and black ops. He has been in Somalia, Bosnia, etc, etc. And he has been in those countries for 2 days to 6 days depend on the op. He didn't have any girlfriends in the U.S. at the time. He was only 19 years old.
Not all military men cheat, lie, and go to hookers. Anybody who believe that need a reality check.

Been in Pattaya during Cobra Gold a few times and Subic a couple tiems during random joint exercises (I'm not US military or anything, just happened to be there at the same time). The guys seem to have a lot of dumb rules and regulations they have to abide by nowadays, doesn't seem like any fun. I feel bad for them. Was prolly a lot better back in the 90s.

The boom in SE Asian sex tourism in the last decade can be directly attributed to increased US military presence in the Middle East and Central Asia. Go to any bar in Bangkok/Pattaya/Phuket and you're bound to find a handful of military contractors.

They do have very strict rules and regulations.
My brother was in the military from 95-01 He was 17.5 years old when he joined the Marine corps. What these military men do depend on their MOS. A force recon is most likely sent to foreign country doing the most dangerous jobs. I know my brother has always done the most dangerous ops (military hostage rescuing as an example) These boys couldn't go to hookers even if they wanted to. My brother has once stayed in the jungle for two days!
Not every single military man shared the same mentality or experience at all. Especially the older generation Marines, they are truly hardcore.
Some people on city data really believes Marines corps is like that dumb ass movie full metal jacket.
Right, but they are usually on leave when they go to places like Thailand.
