I don't blame you, I'd rather have no physical contact than to have aggressive/competitive touch.

It's really tragic how touch has become such a feared thing (for understandable reasons, when it's unwanted),
that our culture ends up either sexualizing/eroticizing all touch or dismissing it as unimportant, when to some folks it really does matter.
Affection is indeed in short supply for single people, for those of us who don't have family/friends/pets to exchange hugs with.

Yes. Only adult folk dancing is 10,000x funner. I must admit though that I secretly did like it even back then and you never get stuck with a partner all night b/c we change up every dance.
