I've heard Match.com in my city is good for relationships. Haven't tried Match.com in three years and it didn't work for me. OkCupid is ok and free. I'm not really a fan of Internet dating though!
I did not like Match, and liked PoF the least. OkCupid has been great for me. I've had two serious relationships start there, and I've dated a handful of others. I've met many people on PoF, but do not care for the site itself, and it doesn't exactly lend itself to long term relationships in most cases. I am much better able to weed people out and get a sense of prospective suitors through OkCupid. I actually have a very promising date tonight with a really great gentleman. We already hit it off through messaging, texting and over the phone. The date tonight will go beautifully, I'm sure.
Eharmony seems to be the most serious though. But IMO, they have the least amount of options and pair you with people you have NOTHING in common with and who are actually on your list of no-goes. So even though they ask for your requirements, then they totally ignore them. Not sure why, maybe because they don't have enough matches?
I found Plenty Of Fish to be used almost exclusively by men looking for casual sex, OKcupid was a good mix, but I didn't get much attention there nor did my messages get responses (I guess I'm one of the 90% that's fat and ugly?) and I did match.com very briefly and I don't think I ever received a message from anyone near my age.
I did meet my dude on OKC, and that was after 4ish years of online dating so take from that what you will.
OkCupid is a disaster. 90% of the women on there are fat, ugly or both. Not sure how it is in other areas.
Call me shallow, do not care.
never used it but at least the women are real by the sound of things , half the women on POF don't even exist , they are computer generated bots
match.com is by far the best IMO
