I've heard this phrase quite a few times with different answers, how would you personally fill in the blank?

Isn't romantic love all about conditions though?

For example, there was no criteria or conditions I had to meet in order for my mom to love me... It was and still is unconditional. But in order for her to love my dad, he had to meet certain conditions or criteria(be attractive, smart, funny, great personality, caring, kind etc).

In a sense that happens, however to love a person when they look like azz, hurt, eff up, or in spite of is true love.
