^ ^ ^ That's exactly it . . . and the article was hilarious!

Some people don't know a good thing when they are sitting there talking to him . . . and that includes the guy you are married to . . .

Yeppers, that was very amusing.

I think the OP is referring to all the mistakes in the article. As others mentioned, there's the pervasive glaring error of chastising men that are "available" , "no romantic companion", "hes alive right now", "hes a real living person", "that hes single".

Here's a sample nonsense clip from article "And then I think to myself, ugh, Kim, not again! Why do you always fall for the married, gay, single, straight, alive, dead, bisexual, imaginary, comatose, extant, or extra-dimensional guys?!"

The OP is saying CDF posters here are mostly devoid of logic just as the writer of the article. There is also horrendous grammar, such as statements beginning with "But" or "Like" or "And".

Personally, I think the OP was just having a bit of fun. The article is from the Onion. It is not to be taken seriously. It's just supposed to make people laugh. If you don't find it funny - that's totally fine. Like I said before, we all have different senses of humor.

Count me as yet another fan of The Onion. (We appear to have a few satire-impaired folks around here.) I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thought of this forum when I saw the article a few weeks ago. I actually thought about posting it here, but never got around to it.

Satire, dude, satire. The "mistakes" you're pointing out are the whole joke.

Guys my point was not about whether the article is funny or a joke or satire. I know the Onion. It's just my attempt to answer why the OP surmises it's written by CDF poster.

Because of the nonsense you see posted here by people.... that was a perfect thread, just in the sense that it hit the mark totally....
