That's all you've tried? Getting with women in your social circle? And you've already given up? You haven't even begun to try! There's so much more to socializing than that!

I think trying for women in my social circle is a good indicator you can let attraction grow and build an clearly i still couldnt create attraction over a long period i dont see why the things you mentioned would be any different..

It depends on your thoughts on the phrase "It's better to have love and lost then to never love at all"

Yeah, OP, how dare you? Ruth insists that you throw yourself on the tracks again, and again, and again, and again, and again until you have found a woman that will accept you as her life accessory.

You're doing the right thing, buddy.

Think like the Hindus. Nirvana (heaven) is the freedom from all want and desire. It's an admirable thing to shoot for.

It's not like you join one activity and the love of your life appears. It's about circulating as much as you can (trying a couple of different things at a time) to see who turns up. It's a giant game of chance. If you don't play, you can't win. It just seems premature for you to throw in the towel without trying all the options available. As people say, it's a numbers game. How many women passed through your social circle--10? 12? Experts say finding someone you click with is a 1/100 shot. That's a lot of weeding and sifting that needs to go on. But if you make it part of your everyday life, the task doesn't seem so overwhelming. Participating in hobbies or volunteering for a cause is something that should be enjoyable and enriching to you anyway.

Oh well. *sighhhh*

Quitting is an option. But it takes a special kind of person to do that.

I know people who have quit. They don't need social contact and are kind of loners. They're kind of off the map. If you think you can handle it, go for it.

It's not really choosing to quit if you have no choice.

our young go to great lengths to get comfortable and avoid pain and suffering
but nature teaches us that both are critical for development.
