Thanks, and yes I did. You see just like with any unknown situation, you play or go with the odds. Notice no denial from the OP. Odds are women who "put up with men" like this, do so for the reasons I described. Of course age, wisdom, like experience and other factors play a role in making a best guess. Looking through her old posts I was able to draw my conclusion. And I'll still put the bottom of my stack on it's about right on the mark.

Emotionally damaged?

Honey, he's a run-of-the-mill ahole.

Get rid of him faster than you would get rid of dog crap on the bottom of your shoe.

Ugh.

Thanks for the support. I officially broke it off with this guy, over the phone.
Thus far he is behaving like many of you described, sweet, apologetic, hurt confused, and of course promising to change and be better because he can see I deserve that now. I'm moving on....
As for the poster that suggested that I tolerated this because he was 6'4, packing a large tool and a bad boy, You are wrong on all three counts.

Atta girl! Now change your #/block his, get a new email address, and block him on FB.

And ignore what that other guy said.

Ask yourself 'what am I getting out of this relationship?' 3 months of wasted time IMO. Find someone who deserves you and treats you with respect - which is what you should tell him when you walk out the door. If you don't end it now you will be a controlled woman forever.
