Celebrities With Gap Teeth | Famous People Who Are Gap-Toothed
yep! trashy!
Maybe keeping original teeth makes them look original, give a character, and that imperfections are often what make them beautiful.
Maybe a set of perfectly bleached, perfectly straight (and even fake) chompers just makes you look common and shallow?
Perfectly straight, fixed, bleached teeth is mostly American thing. In other countries people are not obsessed about fixing otherwise perfect teeth, just to make them look... fake.

There are gaps and then there are GAPS.
If the gap is so big it looks like a tooth is missing it looks horrible, IMO.
And good points, too. In M. Strahan's interview I mentioned above, he said he decided, once he could easily afford to have the gap fixed, that maybe it gave him character, and he said he thought having an obvious imperfection made him more approachable.
I chipped a front tooth a few years ago. At first I had the dentist fix it with a simple filling, but when that broke loose I decided not to have it fixed again. He asked me about it, and I just said no, "It will give me character." Lord knows, at my age I have lots of other things I'd have to fix to make me look great. A little chipped tooth isn't likely to make much difference.
When I was back in my 20's I knew this dude..... his front teeth were chipped and cracked a bit.. he was a young dude too... probably couldn't afford to get them fixed, anyways, he was kind of a ********.
His nicknamed was "chip"... yeah... not the most creative name ever, but man... was it fitting....
I never had braces as a kid, and could have used them, but my teeth for the most part corrected themselves. I still have a slight overbite. I've never had dental insurance offered by any of my employers, and my bite has never been something that's bothered me, so I've never had orthodonture as an adult. If it were really important to a guy that I get my malocclusion fixed, I'd strongly suggest he fund it, because it really has never been an issue for me ,and it's just not something I'm likely to bother with.
