in this case they are a day apart... if the boyfriend took you out to a fancy restaurant to celebrate the birthday and anniversary together and did not separately buy you a gift what would you think of it?

My birthday is on a major holiday.

My husband always makes a huge deal out of both. It's very sweet to me that he makes a concerted effort to mark both occasions.

I think this guy should step up and make you feel each event is independent of the other. IMO he took the wuss way out!

You deserve better!

heavenforbid he takes you to a fancy restaurant.

People like you don't deserve to be in a relationship.

My parents got married on her birthday and divorced on his birthday. I kid you not. So, there's always much celebrating going on.

I have 007 in my name and therefore people would mistake my identity as being that of a male. Thursday was already taken and the name Thursday was coined by someone I worked with who didn't read my handwritten name correctly and said what's with this 'Thursday." It snowballed into a discussion about it sounding like a James Bond girl name in a meeting and therefore stuck. I was known as Thursday from then on out. So, who knows why people pick the names they do.
