First man has an old luxury car. Let it be BMW.
Second man has a new cheap car. Let it be Ford.

The price of both cars is the same. Let's assume that other features of these men are the same.

Question for young girls and women: Does it really matter to you what car a man who is trying to have a date with you drives.

I believe old luxury cars like Jaguar, Mercedes, or Audi still has some charm and charisma in them while new but cheap ones like Ford or Kia have a hint of boredom.

I guess if I was a young girl I'd choose the first one, the one with the BMW.

What is your take on this issue?

Doesn't matter.

The car needs to be safe to ride in, relatively clean inside and odor-free.

And no bodies in the trunk!

Honestly, back in the day, I had no time for anyone who cared about me -- or didn't care about me -- because of hat car I drove. I loved the four door Mercury Topaz I drove. It was comfortable, it was a good car, room for me and my friends and I put an awesome stereo in it that could thump you into next week.

In my experience, most women do not really care what car brand someone drives. (Yes, I know there will be some who do). For the vast majority of women, a fancier nameplate car is not going to impress them much.

Only high-maintenance girls really care what kind of car you drive.

Liberty is right. Odor-free is HUGE. Febreze is your friend.

Don't care...and I'm a gearhead.

I don't currently have a car and have no plans on buying one anytime soon.

I don't have a car either, really a non factor in dating, at least in urban areas.

My take would be - that if the car I drive was in _any_ way an important factor for the girl to be with me - then that is likely not a girl I would be considering being with myself in the first place.

How old is the old luxury car? A 2008? Or a 1996? Big difference!
