Instead of nagging, get in shape yourself first. Set an example. You might try joining a running or cycling group and join in their group rides and runs. Maybe he'll want to join in the fun. But HE has to be motivated.

Get p90x or INSANITY work out videos

Take a dance class together

tough mudder / mud run

marathon for charity

take a rock climbing class

why not sign up for a Co-Ed Softball League or soccer league

If you have a dog why not sign the dog up for dog agility
