To get back on track with this thread: Other things that men talk about is about one of the guy's concern if they think she really loves him and if he marries her whether there's a huge potential for divorce shortly after.
I would think if he has any doubts don't go after this lady or give it more time.

It's vulgar and nothing but sexual, when talking about a woman with an attractive ass, its something like "You know that Misty chick? She's got an ass on her that I'd like to **** all night long, but she's a b*tch so that's all I'd use her for!"

When it comes to boobs, I've seen men go as far as to grab a hug from that girl and it's specifically to cop a feel or to get some kind of touch from the chest. The talk usually involves bouncing them in there hands and doing other sexual stuff that I can't really say on this site lol.
I missed this post!

What do they say?

Yes I eaves drop. Lol
Is it mostly negative? It does seem women as PEOPLE are only discussed as negatively.

I've never had a conversation with any woman where this sort of thing was discussed.
At most, it's "I like this height or hair color" or "he dresses nice/ugly". The most vulgar I've heard is if a man has nice abs or butt or something, but it's not dwelled on for long.

Sometimes we mention personality - he's obnoxious, passive, immature, etc, or positive qualities.
We actually don't talk about men & relationships that much, and when we do, then it's generalized, not referring to specific people.

I've spied on male dominated forums online, and most discussion of women is picking apart their bodies. Once in awhile there is face discussion, but those features are not compartmentalized unless she is considered very ugly.

Not long after we were old enough to go outside and meet the boys who would become are friends. So, for me, I'm thinking elementary school. We didn't really know what were talking about or why we were talking, though . My first 'date' was with a girl named Ana in 5th grade. I remember a older kid named Jason asking if she was my girlfriend (oh, my...). I bought her a Slurpee and then I proceeded to play a video game with the change. I think it was Defender.

[or maybe Stargate]

For me personally, that would be a no, as a rule. Not even when I still had male friends that I interacted with, in my life. I prefer doing things with friends on a one-to-basis anyway, but even then, all the individual convo about girls was G/PG-rated in any event, b/c I wouldn't really have felt comfortable with anything beyond that to begin with. That is a romantic couple's personal business...TMI and really none of my business anyway...

Not really. Men are pretty averse to talking about personal stuff with other men. Someone once said something to the effect that women friends talk to each other, while men friends do things together. I think that is broadly. And yes, there are exceptions.

In my group of friends, we don't even think about women. We mainly talk about sports.
