So my good friend who happens to be female and no we have no past at all asks my opinion about her dating history. We get to talking about how many people we've slept with and I admit I've had one night stands but have only been with about 10 girls. She then calls me gross for having one night stands but admits to sleeping with 23 men in which I then stated that she was a bit promiscuous. She then gets serious and asks me if that was bad and she feels horrible and depressed about it. She told me that every guy she was with she was dating and saw potential and then it just didn't work out. She asks me if guys would think less of her or think she's slutty if they knew. Ipersonally told her that her number was a bit high but not ridiculous for a 28 year old and if all the guys were legitimate relationships or potential boyfriends than it's not so bad. What would u guys think of her?

23 being 28; that would be a different man roughly every year of her life dating life (possibly more- depending when she started dating) I would assume, she isn't the committed type.

Even though I've had sex with about that many girls, I'd be turned off if a girl had that many. Not a dealbreaker, but a turn off for sure.

I wouldn't form a value judgment concerning the number of partners she's had. It's not that much.

Such is a double standard. Are you of the view that it's okay for men to have many sexual partners, but not so for women?

Yes. I acknowledge that it's a double standard and I fully support it.

It is a total double standard but I know that's how a lot of men think, cuz I would be a little turned off but like stated earlier don't think it would be a total deal breaker.

If she started dating at 18 then that's roughly a guy every 6 months. Personally I agree it is a bit high
