Do you match?
Do you match the person you are with? Your SO, or your spouse? When I see couples, I look at them, and I feel like either they look right for eachother, or they don't.
I call this matching if they do. I have come to think of things differently though.
What if you are with someone that you totally look like you would not be with? Other people thinking you dont match, you are not right for eachother. But you match in your heart, and what people see, in their eyes, is not what you feel, in your heart?
Polar opposites.
What do you guys think about this? Do you match?

i'd say yes. we're approx the same weight, both got the blue eyes. both are "average" looking.

My boyfriend's family thinks that we are very well matched. I think that it's because we laugh a lot when we are together, are alike in temperament, smarts, opinions and what we like to do. Otherwise, I am Chinese and he is Caucasian, I am 5'7" and he towers over me a 6'5".

before my hubby and I started dating we were friends and did a lot of things together,one night when we were all out for dinner my very dear friends daughter who was 8 said " mom they match"
lol guess she was right we have now been married for 4 years

I'm gonna say yes. In many ways. Except she is about 3 inches taller than me and younger! Which I think is awesome. I'm just average, but I think she is a stunning beauty.

i dont match with anybody and i look like everybody's hubby standing next to them.

My SO is completely my opposite, which is perfect because he is everything I'm not...so I guess he's my better half! I'm more artistically inclined, and he is more logical and such. Had I never met him, I would think I was fine just being on my own. But, being in a relationship with him, I know that he is the one that makes me whole...LOL, we complete each other, and I wouldn't have it any other way. *sigh* I love being in love...  |

All good answers. I think a lot of the times people looking in from the outside consider a couple to not match. Now I am not talking about ethnicity. I am talking about differences.
Blue collar/ white collar
Conservative/ wild
younger/ a bit older
etc.
In the past I always looked at couples and who i thought they were and from that I decided on whether or not I thought they matched. I don't do that anymore. I look at them, and I dont care if one is short and the other tall, one looks like a mountain man and the other looks like a yuppy.
Its the eyes. What do you see in their eyes when they look at eachother? Love? Does it matter if the outside doesn't match? Really?
I have to say that going back a while ago, I sort of thought it did, but anymore, I do not.
I think of my sister asking me if I will ever be with another man again, after what happened with my husband, I don't think I will become an old maid. I do think it may be likely that we wont match, whoever the we is that is out there.
Anymore, matching doesn't matter.
Where is the love? Thats what matters now. Nothing else. If a couple matches in their hearts, that is the ticket right there.
